Thanks to a grant from the Vermont Department of Health, VCIL's website now includes a new calendar and a listing of accessible recreation, sports and wellness activities in Vermont. To submit a resource listing of for the wellness calendar, click here (live link to submission

In addition, several of VCIL staff and peers are now trained to offer the 'Living Well with a Disability' Workshop, a self-help and peer support program created by the University of Montana in partnership with several independent living centers. The first Living Well with a Disability workshop is planned for this fall in central Vermont. For more information on future Living Well with Disability Workshops, contact VCIL at 1-800-639-1522 or email Ericka Reil .
