VCIL employs a staff member — Mike Charron – certified through the ADA Coordination Program through the University of Missouri.
VCIL’s ADA Distribution List reaches hundreds of Vermonters via monthly e-mails detailing local training opportunities, New England ADA Center Access e-newsletters, Department of Justice settlement announcements and U.S. Access Board publications.
Community Access Program staff members sit on the following boards and committees:
- Vermont Access Board.
- Vermont Agency of Education Bullying, Hazing and Harassment Advisory Council.
- Vermont Crime Victim Compensation Program Advisory Council.
- Vermont State Library Advisory Council.
- Violence and Abuse Task Force (National Council on Independent Living).
VCIL supports municipal ADA committees in Barre, Burlington, Brattleboro, Montpelier and Rutland.
