Accessible Vaccination Services
This service is no-cost and will continue until April 15, 2025
VCIL has heard from Vermonters having a hard time accessing COVID and flu vaccines this year, including older Vermonters and those with disabilities.
We are able to vaccinate people ages 3+ who have insurance (including Medicaid and Medicare). We are proud to offer the following options for anyone in the state of Vermont with unmet access needs thanks to our partnership with Conley’s Drug Store and a grant from US Aging:
- In-Home Vaccination
- Site Based Vaccination
To connect with the pharmacy directly to schedule vaccines or with questions, please call: 802-266-0321. (If no one answers, please leave a message and we will call you back.)
Download flyers to share here.
In Home & Site Based Vaccination
In-home and site based vaccination is available for anyone who has difficulty getting to or using a community vaccination location, including children.
For your safety, vaccinators will wear masks (including N95 respirators by request). Though there is no direct cost to you, your insurance information will be collected and billed.
Entire households and facilities anywhere in the state of Vermont can be vaccinated at once and the more the merrier! This includes caregivers, friends, residents, and staff. (Heck, even throw a backyard vaccine party for your neighborhood!)
Available vaccines through this program include:
- COVID for ages 3+ (Pfizer, Moderna, and Novavax)
- Flu for all ages (Flucelvax and Fluad 65+)
Add-on vaccines:
- Shingles* for all 50+ and 19+ who are immunodeficient/immunosuppressed (Shingrix)
- Pneumonia* for all 65+ and others 18+ with chronic health conditions/immunocompromised (Prevnar- 20)
